How to play Word Search
In a word search there are several words hidden inside a grid full of letters. Your goal is to find them all. The words to look for are listed next to the board.
In Grafito, press and hold on the first letter of a word and drag — with the mouse or your finger — to the last one. If you're right, the word turns green and is crossed off the list. Words can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal, and forwards or backwards depending on the level.
Word Search rules
- The words to find are shown in a list beside the grid.
- A word can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal; at higher levels also backwards.
- To mark it, drag in a straight line from its first to its last letter.
- You win when you've found every word on the list.
Tips & strategy
- Look first for uncommon letters (K, W, Z, X): they often give away a word's position.
- Scan the grid systematically, row by row, instead of looking at random.
- Note the first letter of each word on the list and track it across the board.
- At higher levels don't forget the diagonals and the words written backwards.
